We worked through the night to get the cast benches cleaned, first coat of paint at 6am this morning.  Two more coats and then we sit and watch paint dry for 24 hours before fitting the wooden slats.  Nearly there.

This is the first stage of making the replica benches for the Titanic exhibition.  The patterns were hand carved in wood, ready for casting.

We've been commissioned to make replicas of this bench end from the Titanic for the Titanic Exhibition in Belfast opening on 31st March 2012.

Our firebaskets were used as part of Ballyronan’s Festival of Lights, a lovely evening by the shores of Lough Neagh.  Thanks for the photos Lukas.

We have taken our latest Druid sculptures on holiday to the Bloom Festival in Phoenix Park.  We’ll be there selling some lovely metalwork from Thursday 2nd to Monday 6th June.

Dirty Old Town in Charleville

The Dirty Old Town? programme continues on RTE 1 tonight, look out for glimpses of the Charleville Cow.  We spent a great weekend with all the volunteers doing a major clean up of the town.  We worked alongside some very talented metalworkers from the town to create a giant metal cow to welcome people into the town.  It was made entirely from scrap corrugated tin.
